Being that mom and dad are now SO close to the ski hill, we couldn't resist stopping by for the day (being that there wasn't enough snow to x-country ski. So, we got both kids on skis, despite the frigid wind chill (-32!!!). Hayden stood up, made too runs down the bunny hill and then in he went. Alyssa lasted her whole lesson and was a super star! She would love to do it again, but maybe not when it's so cold. Trudy was an awesome teacher and Alyssa got all the attention to herself with the private lesson.

Hayden stands up on two skis

Up the "magic carpet" to the top of the bunny hill. Steve is sheltering Hayden's face from the cold wind.

...and down he goes ~ there is a smile on that freezing red face!

Alyssa started off on the bunny hill with Trudy, but quickly graduated to the jackrabbit. The pink skis were also a hit!

Up the rope tow ~ much easier than it used to be...

...and down, all by herself ~ my girl made me proud!
