We stopped at a playground in Vernon and had picnic one day. Here is Alyssa before she worked up the confidence to let her hands go and just swing upside down. Once she got the guts, she loved hanging upside down...

Not to be outdone by his trickster sister, Hayden climbed on some bars too..."Mom, quick, take a picture of me"

We stopped at the Spiral Tunnels on our way to Vernon in hopes that we would actually see a train. I'd never even heard of it...Steve apparently has stopped here many times before.

Still excited about the prospect of seeing a train in the tunnels....

...watching...

...waiting...

No train...and then a temper tantrum ensued....*sigh*
