Cherating

After hanging out in KL since June 25, we thought we should go on one last holiday before school started. We decided to drive to the East Coast, to Cherating, where some of the teachers go to surf during hurricane season. After a traumatic Thursday (when we fired our live in maid because she refused to leave the house when asked), we packed up and drove the 3 hours to our hotel...which was not Club Med, but the Impiana right next door. Being late Thursday night, we checked in to our hotel and went directly to bed. The next morning, we headed down to the beach. It wasn't sunny at all when we were there, but the temperatures were still in the 30s. The kids LOVE the beach and playing in the sand. We could spend hours doing that! They also really enjoyed the water and crashing about in the waves ~ as long as Alyssa had her goggles on to "protect" her from the salt.
