Ok, so, around March 15 (seems so long ago!) we went to the Cameron Highlands for a "girl's" weekend. It is one place that Rene (grade 2 teacher) had not been in Malaysia and, since she will be leaving after this year, wanted to go to. There were 8 of us in total and it was a very enjoyable, relaxing weekend. We doubled up in rooms and just kind of hung out, enjoying the fresh air, cool temperatures and great company.
On the way up...not far from the town we stayed in ~ Rene in blue in the back and Judy (other gr. 2 teacher from Canada) in the front. It was great to stop a minute and stretch.
Here is what we actually stopped to take the picture of ~ the tea fields. They are so lush and green.
Cameron Highlands is also "famous" for the amazing strawberries they grow up there ~ which we buy at the market EVERY Thursday night (cheap strawberries 365 days a year).
Kathleen (another teacher ~ heck, we were all teachers) pouring water out of a pitcher plang ~ this one is domesticated, but they grow in the jungle ~ and yes, there really was water in the pitcher!
