Spiderman and Ariel...the happy couple. I actually wanted to get Hayden a Flounder costume as I thought that would be super cute, but nothing to be found and too complicated to arrange to have it made. Alyssa really wanted to be Ariel and I thought this might be the last halloween that she doesn't have to squeeze a snowsuit under (or even worse: over) her costume.
The Parent Association turns the entire elementary school into a haunted house on the Friday before Halloween. As soon as school ends, they begin decorating. Each classroom serves as a "house" and they set up a candy station outside. There are lots of games and activities along the way. it's cool and not too spooky. Here are Alyssa and her best friend, Anushka trick or treating.
