Family photos get much better as the kids get older and fight more! In the water just behind is where we would see reef sharks every evening...as you can see, the water was amazingly clear!
They grey (and white too, but I don't have photo) herons which the island was named for. There were hundreds!
Alyssa took this photo and it really encompasses the feeling at Heron...nothing to do but sit and relax. That's right, no t.v., radio, phone, cell phone reception, internet...a 2 hr ferry boat ride off the coast of Gladstone, QLD and nothing to do ~ it is a little piece of paradise...
