Alyssa "feeding" Ted dinner ~ a tasty malange of rainforet seed, berries and whatnot.

Hayden's one goal when he got his diaper off was to "pee" off the bridge. While he could not master this task, a valient effort was made. When I have commented about this to my male friends (and Steve and Ted) their reply "well of course!" Must be a "guy thing".

This was a large hole in a large tree and obviously a home to something. Alyssa was terrified to look in ~ you know the creepy crawlies, especially in the rainforest ~ until after Steve stuck Hayden halfway in...one always needs a "crash test dummy" to ensure things are safe.

Swinging on the vines...a favourite rainforest past time!
My BIG boy!
The crew...notice the cool weather clothing. We were so excited to wear pants and sweaters (jumpers to use some Aussie lingo). It was also great to go on a rainforest hike where there wasn't a huge humidity factor ~ it was downright refreshing!
This is a fig tree choking out another tree...the birds poop out fig seeds which take root and establish themselves high up, sending roots down the tree. They continue to grow until they kill the original tree. Very cool to look at.
More jungle swinging!
