Car Conversations

So, yesterday we dropped Steve off on the way home at his hair place (also a cell phone repair shop and other miscellaneous enterprises I'm sure). I go around the car and get in the driver's door:

Hayden: Mom! You can't drive!!!!

Me: Yes I can, I have a license.

Alyssa: How old do you have to be to get a license?

Me: 16

Alyssa: You are older than 16.

Me: That's right, I'm way older than 16 so I've had my license for a long time.

Alyssa: Mom, are you close to 100?

Me: NO! I'm not even close to 50 which is 1/2 of 1oo!....I don't think she really got that though...sigh
