Our Mid-October break was the week of Oct. 12 - 16. Having a week off in the middle of October is absolutely fantastic ~ plus, the weather in Malaysia is always like summertime! On Monday night we packed our bags for our 530 a.m. departure for Perhentian Island on the East Coast of Penninsular Malaysia. After cabbing to Subang Airport, we fortunately found a Starbucks open at 6 for breakfast. Since our plane didn't leave until 730, we had plenty of time to chill in Starbucks.
